Me in 100 Words

My name is Kevin Nielsen. I do track for BYU. I was second in the nation for the decathlon for my age group. I have high jumped 6’10. I enjoy all sports and not just track. I broke my leg when I was four jumping of a hope chest and when I was five, had a rusty nail go into my eye. I now have two different colored eyes because of the accident. One is blue one is green. I love to eat meat and I prefer warm weather to cold. I am a twin and have five total siblings.

  1. Hi Kevin! First off, I love the title of your whole blog coupled with the picture of the duck. That cracks me up. But, relating to this post, you sound like a super amazing runner, and also very accident prone. The worst I’ve done is broken an arm playing limbo.
I love to eat meat too. How do you like your steak cooked?
I also have five siblings. I’m fourth out of five. Are you the oldest?

  2. Well Kevin I did not know we had so much in common! I to do track for BYU! However I'm a cross country runner as well. I’m a distance kid. number two in the nation is awesome! I never got that high up in the poles. I'm so excited to be apart of BYU track! its going to be sweet! I would like to know how you got a nail in your eye? That seems like it would be hard to get a nail in you eye, but I guess I would not know...

  3. Kevin, I didn't know you were on the track team! Very cool! We have quite a few athletes in our class. You'll have to explain the nail in the eye thing--I was privileged to hear part of the story in your history paper.Crazy! Still waiting to hear how you like your steak cooked.

  4. I like my stake cooked medium rare. Not too burnt but not raw. Also, I am the third child. Yup that's right. The middle, but only by 20 mins
